Sigh...………….
There's a lot of interesting reading out there, but here's a snippet that is perhaps a little less well known known.
His father, Graham Walker (1896-1962), was a motorcycle racer and despatch rider, and after completing 15 years as an active IoM competitor Graham retired from road racing and initially took on a number of freelance positions including that of BBC commentator, a role he continued after WW11 often with his son Murray working alongside him from 1949.
Following the war Murray briefly took up motorcycle racing.
Until his death, Murray was one of the Vice Presidents of The Sunbeam Motorcycle Club ( a club for all makes of pre-war motorcycles).
His father, was for many years Sunbeam Club Chairman and later President.
This is the club that, amongst other things, runs the Pioneer Run for pre-1915 machines and the Graham Walker Memorial Run.
