will not start

Hi everyone another problem!!

Tried to start my bike today,turned over but wouldnt fire. took out the plugs,cleaned them put on choke started first time ran for a minute or so,started to die so i turned down the choke but couldnt save it.I turned her over 2 or3 times wouldnt fire again so i took out the plugs and found the 2 off side were cover in a dry soot,the 2 near side were wet.

What does this mean?

sounds like lack of fuel mate, fuel old?

If you have a difference between the two sides then what do the two cylinders share? A Coil possibly?

If not fuel to those two carbs?

Sounds like two pots aren`t firing but doesn`t make sense when you consider the firing order. Possible the choke is only working on the two wet ones and the connection has come adrift in the bank of carbs.

Shall ponder this while I beat the f**k out of the virago to find out why my back cylinder still keeps cutting out!!!!!!!
