great story thanks for sharing it. There are a few pushed over the cliff in Cornwall and the Scilly Isle is famous for its scrap yard.

I love stuff like that, totally bonkers, but what a great back story , being a 57 ,23 window makes it a very desirable model but , just a little more than I'd want to take on... imagine trying to free the engine off........ think it's flooded mate ;D :D :P he he

Totally bonkers, but as they said, with VW valuations constantly rising, it was worth it financially. Crazy :)
