It's the best bit of art I've ever seen but you really have to be there to appreciate it - a friend is thinking of visiting.

Yes Crosby - it's an art 'installation' by Anthony Gormley, the man who did 'the angel of the North'.  This one is called 'Another Place' and you really have to be there and spend some time there, preferably starting at high tide and watching the figures emerge from the sea as the tide goes out.

It made me feel - I dunno, but it made me feel something!
