Steel footplates are 1960s tractor fittings, just propped in place here.
That's given me a idea for my seat thanks andy What ? Surely footplates would be a tad uncomfortable for the butt. my thoughts exactly, not my ideal for a comfy seat No the pic but it didn't come up in the quote Jees wat you like

Don't know what the future holds for me, but for now I'll be moving into lodgings in Basingstoke, Hants, where I work. I won't have the facilities for any more full builds. So this may very well be the very last trike I build. Farewell Little Grey.
I doubt you will see this at the moment, but take a step back you have no idea what the future holds for you, and that goes for the rest of the entire planets population many may think they are in clover but fact is things can change so fast its unreal. From where i am stood you are sorting things out, you have a place to stay and thats more than you had when all this kicked off. Man give it time you will be sticking trikes and cars together i am sure before you realise it, and even a year from now wont recognise where you are at right now.

Yeah, you're right of course. Doesn't feel that way right now, but anything can happen. I've made up my mind to be relentlessly optimistic once I leave the cottage. Get my truck & my bike finished for the Spring & get out & enjoy life a bit. I've always been a bit cautious & conservative, always played it safe. Maybe it's time to grab opportunities when they come my way & go for it. Onwards & upwards!

Well, Taz's trike finally left for it's new home today. I wasn't there to see it go as I was at work, but can reveal that Mr Gazzagood is the new proud, (I hope), owner. He sent a friend along in a van with a tail lift this morning to collect it. He took the trike & all the Reliant spares I had left. Keep in touch please mate. Goodbye Little Grey.

That's weird. Just had an email from an Andrew in the Shetland Isles. He's ended up with the frame of Taz's trike. Amazing how these things survive & pop up again years later. We started this project in 2007.

Hello Andrew -meet the forum chaps They were made by Mick in Rotherham I think, (check back through this thread). I may still have his address somewhere. Or you could ask Olds, as he built a smaller set for his own trike, but ended up not fitting them.

Shame it's lost it's forks etc. Think you need to start a new thread. Shetland shed trike perhaps.
