I saw three cars in my road yesterday that wouldn’t start because of flat batteries.
Car 1 was successfully jump-started using another (running) car.
Car 2 was flat and about to be connected to Car 3, but they found Car 3 was flat too!
To the rescue – the NOCO hand held booster. It started Car 2 easy peasey, then it started Car 3 easy peasey.
(it’s claimed to do up to 20 jumps starts on a single charge).
I bought mine a few years ago on the recommendation of a pal who runs his own second-hand vehicle business, and frequently has to jump start machines when they arrive or have been standing for a while.
The model I chose was the GB40 1000A which is spec’d for 6 Litre petrol / 3 Litre diesel engines as figured that should cover most eventualities and it has been successful used every time I’ve needed it. I have to say I’m still impressed with it.
There’s a variety of different spe’d units available,
Its designed in the USA, built in China, and available in the UK from outlets including Amazon & E-bay.
It’s charged from the mains via a supplied USB lead, can be used to top up devices such as phones and has an in-built torch.
