Pipe Centre is probably best. Plumb Centres probably only do copper or plastic

Heres the linkage I built to allow the throttle cable to enter at a better angle instead of vertically.

My tank is mounted on the back of the trike, but I've seen a few bike tanks with a notch cut out to clear the carb.

the 1 3/8" erw (1" bore) and 7/8" pipe are proving a bit illusive! anyone have a source where i can get about 3m of one and 1m of the other? the guy at my local plumb centre looked at me like i had two heads when i asked for it.

Have a look at this, longer than U need but check out their store.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150765466486?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I just bought that for my handle bars, should come in the next few days, its expensive but I hope it will look the part when painted or plated Smiley

PS look for tube, not pipe. As I understand it tube is measured by its outside diameter, pipe by its inside diameter. So 7/8 pipe will be slightly larger outside and may not fit your mounts?

Put a spacer between the carb and manafold to move the carb out. or try to get one of these

it moves the carb away from the engine

and it sits a bit lower

andyrennison, cheers for that. i will try to mail them later and see if they have 4mm wall tube. good that they do it in shorter lengths. i only need about 48" of 1 3/8" and 51" of 7/8".
terry t, what is that called? and where can i get one? that might give me the space i need for more juice  Smiley
