Cheers Mr Manky sir  Kiss well its not all bad news but I won't be going this year as I need to rest up and give the old eyes a rest. The glaucoma is so advanced in one eye that I'm having to look after the buggers if I want them to last me another 30 odd years!!!!! and your right Andy, without out my eye's car's and bikes wouldn't be any good!!!!!

You forgot to say it is because you kept taking those 30 frame a second action shots Dave!
Wink

Chevy Rick, Alfie and I had a great time. Like you said, weather was great; there were loads of interesting motors providing a soundtrack of burbly engine noises that never got annoying; loads of interesting people from all over the place, the majority dressed the part; loads of interesting conversations, entertainment and goodies to buy, and many old and new friends who we will hopefully see again next year (or even sooner Dave).

On the Saturday we went to Dunsfold Park airfield where we watched some brave Hayriders drag race their cars, trucks and/or bikes along the track. It was really good. Very entertaining. The bragging rights went to a very fast rodded Morris.

This excursion culminated in the take off of the DC3 Dave mentioned. A Rodder, the chap who started all the drag races with great enthusiasm and aplomb, was filmed racing the plane as it took off! That video is probably already on YouTube.

Overall, another great experience at Bisley. Cannot recommend it enough.

I am sure Rick will soon post his photos.

As for me, I think I need a few days to recover.
