hi all,
review on Be Sharp - well i've never seen a band set up their kit and not do
a sound check! These guys were pros, bass player had a 5 string jazz and 5
string fretless, the drummer had a massive kit and all the cymbals were
doubled up ( a smaller one mounted upside down on the larger one) the
guitarist managed to play cords that controlled a synth as well as making
guitar sounds. they played steely dan, grace jones donald fagan remember
burlesque? hendix plus others, all were played perfect and not to loud
either!
we've booked them again so keep an eye out.
i bought 4 of their cd's ;-)

fri 21st april - stubby disco - always goes down well, he doesn't play
modern cr@p - his words!
