Well I hope those who do go will have a good day - looks like the weather in London may be slightly better than down here!

I'm gonna clean up the inside of my car as it has MOT next week and I always think they have more chance of passing if they at least look like something that might pass.......    Grin

Ska Man, Tazet & I finally arrived at the Ace at about half 3 this afternoon, after spending the morning at the National Street Rod Association swapmeet in Purfleet.
Unfortunately by then, everyone had left except for a pair of "Essex trikes" -big, matt black beasties with Rover V8 power & some interesting exhaust systems.

We're told there were a couple of dozen trikes there less than an hour before we arrived. Did anyone else make it?

Myself, Mrs Byzmax and Mr and Mrs Saddlebags and three of the saddlebags little ones spent a couple of hours there!

Quite a few trikes including a v12 twin turbo jag thingy and about half a dozen goldwing trikes Tongue

A couple of Ural combo's and lots of V8's and a diesel trike that actually ran on vegetable oil!

Bugger! Would've been good to meet up.
If you've got a couple of dozen decent piccies, can we have them to add to the Rally/Show Photos bit please.

Yeah, that's fine. Easiest way would be to burn them onto a disc & post them to me. Either that or send them a couple at a time in emails, but that gets a bit tedious. I'll PM you my postal address.
Same goes for everyone else. If you attend an event we don't get to, take a camera along please.  Wink

Yup, no problem. I usually have to send mine two or three at a time, probably because of their size or quality. Send as many as you've got matey & I'll make up a gallery for them.

They were Q plated so must've been through an inspection of some sort, but I'd imagine not in the guise they're in now. The guy riding the one with the square box section exhausts had the pipes actually resting on his toe caps. When the engine fired up & shook on it's rubber mounts they were knocking against his boots. Must be fun when they're hot. Both were a lot quieter than we expected though.
