took the girders for a analysis of wots needed doing etc... met and spoke to Tom" has a nice well kitted out garage including mill lathe welders etc Smiley" very nice chap infact Smiley also met Alex from chopperbuilder forum and he had my prize with him which was for the mascot naming competition, "my suggestion was BoB as in bob the builder:)" i had stickers and 2 chopper town dvd's Smiley i was well happy with that and it was un expected Smiley. ive left Tom to contemplate over the project and hope to hear from him in a day or 2.

i also met Keith from the R3W forum "im getting around today:)" i bought a reliant engine yellow top from him for £60, we take it out of the car next weekend. why i here u say Smiley well i ogt the crank out thats damaged so to me ...another crank bearing thrust washers, then id be thinking is the cam ok? sleeves etc etc, so for nowit will become parts and i'll use the casing to make a dummy"setup" engine for the frame.

my little pockets of cash are as always being used on side issues Smiley and nout really moving forward Sad i still have to get some pipe benders Sad or well could be worse Smiley will post more when it happens...

The joys of building eh mate!
Nice to know there's some genuinely nice people out there who'll help you out. Is the rest of the donor car available? Axle etc? Hang in there. It'll be worth all the hassle in the end -honest.  Wink

Wouldn't mind an axle as a spare if you don't need it.

I have a pipe bender here VB. Should be ok if you are using thick pipe. I am no expert but I can pass on a bit of advice on how to use it.

No. Although I have not done any frame work for a while, it is handy to have around.
As I said above, if you get some steel for your frame I will give you a hand with it.
