Fed up with the weather always spoiling my plans, need large lottery win so I can move into the country to a house with a barn that has room enough for me to work on my 3 current projects, if said lottery win is big enough then barn could be large enough to take the 3 projects I've spotted on the Belgian and French eBay sites

Always Andy, the more the merrier Eric, the chap I stay with in France has a large workshop which is the size of a 4 car garage and a barn in which you could fit a pair of artic's and he has plans to buy the old barn which houses the Citreon and Kubblewagon. And he only has 3 Panthers and a Triumph Spitfire to work on

I'm seriously thinking of emigrating! My sister's just bought a new house in Canada. 5 bedroom, New England style clapperboard house in an acre of land. 49 thousand quid.

So when we all moving. All chip in and buy a huge estate and call it Manky Mansion and hold events of our own every year with huge sheds for all the projects and free camping to everyone from the forum who comes sporting their MMM clothes.

Mmm, garlic I could live with, red wine I could probably get used to. The French? Not so sure.

Ditto what Manky said. I love garlic and I'm sure in time we could get used to the red wine. Its the cheese I'm not too keen on.
Can we do Canada instead please. At least we can understand them there.

The rural French are excellent, well at least all the ones I have met are. Canada is good but a hell of a long way for friends and family to visit, or is that the idea at least with France your trike contingent could still come over for a summer rally

This is very true. Thats if they can make it that far. Perhaps organise a flatbed artic to take them most of the way then ride the last bit.

Move to France? Yes please!
The French are lovely, I've never had any problems with any of them, a darn sight more friendly than a lot of Brits!
The wine is great and they really understand FOOD!
And they like bikes an trikes an cars etc.
And they don't mind where you park. One time in France I asked someone if it was ok to park somewhere, he looked around, scratched his head, said "There is space, ther is car - why not park?" I like France.
