Will one fit the other? The bell housing is apparently larger on the 750 than the 850? How can that be right? I thought they were interchangeable? Any ideas? Thanks

It states super robin reliant on the log book, but there were rumours it came out of a bond bug. I'm not sure how true that is though.

I have just this minute got back on line.
If it was out of a Bond Bug the original lump was a 700cc side valve, and the flywheel & bell housing would be very different from later 750 & 850s.
I would say have this one VB gave me, but while I have been offline I had a look at it and it seems ok.
I was going to look for an 850 and use this one for measurements only, but to save money I will put it back together.

I'm always plugging them, but that's cos they're damn good -try Michaels of Selby, (Yorks). Their details are in the Links for Commercial Purposes bit of the forum. They're Reliant specialists, servicing & selling spares, & sometimes break vehicles. They'll be able to tell you all you need to know.
Oh, tell 'em we sent you by the way.  Wink
