Front forks

Whilst popping down the road I noticed a fork seal leaking. So pulled the forks off and took the pair of them to get new seals put in. Got a call next day from the garage to inform me that my forks had no bloody springs in them. Yep. No springs and hardly any oil. Now I know why the forks had over springs. So I've had new springs and bits and oil in the forks but I don't think they are up to the job of holding up a relint lump. (Cx500 forks ) I've tried putting the over springs back on but it seems the forks are a bit shorter now they are as they should be. I take it I will have to have new springs made

Can't see how putting springs in, would shorten the forks.

Lol. Yep they are the right ones. Mate just told me I have to compress the springs a bit to get them to fit
