my guess.......some old wank garden-rotavator.......chain driven to extend [whatever is driven] away from engine.......and the 2 'utensils' are quite close together......so, rotavator?

and me, I know., but probably disbarred from answering as I had to have it explained to me whilst holding it ! I do think it's a well tidy unit crying out to be used with a little 350 Triumph or similar  in a super light weight trike.

yep its a diff from a 1950,s berkeley sports car rare as hens teeth i turned down an offer that would have bought me a brand new unit but as this is a 1,1 ratio im gonna use it to go with my new front end. which you lot have seen before ;D

The YodaMobile? Tis no more? I thought it was being rebuilt, stronger, faster, better than it was before.

by the dimensions.....

one would summise the following..

for an application that requires a modicum of torque, but slow speed

the chain is the drive, so a motor with small gear would be situated close by...or a landwheel

my suggestion is the centrally mounted gearbox to drive the metering mechanism off an old ground driven seedbox drill

im afraid the yoda mobile is no more. i wont go into details on an open forum as to why it was scrapped.
the new yoda mobile is under construction and its gonna be a good,un
last year i organised a little suprise for yoda through his own forum and we raised over £1100 towards the rebuild ;D
this new trike has some bloody good engineering going into it and i cant wait to see the new front end theres some bloody clever peeps on this forum as i believe dracken did the design for the forks ;D
