Now i really like the look of this front axle and wanted something like it for the gearbox mount. So with a bit of CAD 1.0 as Gareth at this time was not messing about so much with actual CAD, we made a template, marked up some metal, drilled some holes, and more holes before welding two bits of flat bar top and bottom while holding in a vice.
A bit more welding and grinding and it came out quite well.
