They show the right hand side of the Type 1 VW Beetle transaxle A arm pivot bolt that I want to replace.

That's why I didn't recognise it,not done anything on beetles, Kev/Kapri should be able to shed more light on it as he has been a big Beetle fan for a while now, let's hope he pops in soon.

Unbolt the spring plate and axle from the arm first then it's got no suspension load on it. I suspect it's unscrewing itself if it's completely worn out the bush.
