and be illegal, to the best of my knowledge, MOT makes provision for hardtail back ends, but dont know about fronts on second thoughts maybe thats just bikes?? but either way it would put a lot of stress on the headstock I reckon that my LL front end will cost about £90 all in, thats with the new twin shocks, the CDS tube, poly bushes etc etc. hardly bank breaking, well except for me

the plans i sent you Steve are for a harley front wheel, 19inch i think. like all plans you would have to make sure the height etc were good for your trike, wheel rakretc cant really put them up publically as they are copyrighted plans

The leading links I had on my oufit years ago had bike shocks, possibly hagon for a triumph (old type twin) but cant remember. I have a feeling I also had some on off a 400 Honda. That was an XS1100 with Squire chair that weighed in at around 450 kilos. Positioning of shock ends will change damping etc

The girder forks that ex forum member FLC built for Taz's Reliant trike, use a single small bike rear shock. 125cc Honda I think.

Designing my own leading links then after much head scratching seems like I'm re inventing the wheel! So I have two general dimensions for trial 75mm and 25mm any other ideal figure people got!? Also Here's a handy link to fork tube sizes may cOme in handy if you have pitted forks and searching On flea bay http://scandalon.com/2009/06/motorcycle-fork-diameter-chart/

Ok I designed two leading link fronts, so dilemma is 1. car front wheel (desperate dan style)or 2. bike rear wheel? (Wild cat tronster style)..
