Our Shaun? I'll try & find a copy. Just picked up the current issue of Custom Car magazine & there's a feature on the recent hotrod races at Pendine in there.

Hmmm. No updates to the Pendine LRC site since last year. The VHRA event is of course on the 28th and 29th of June. All race and pit passes are sold out.

There have been whispers that they will not be running at Pendine, But are trying to get a tarmac venue somewhere,Why i have no idea, Pendine is unique,Anywhere else will just be another event.

I had a chat with the guys last Dec at the Kempton show, and it was muted that tarmac was a potential……
Agree, Pendine is most definitely unique (what an understatement – doh!).

I set up the engine on #253 , bear in mind it was only a 2.2 B 4 banger as well ,not the larger 3 litre Yank model A 4 . I told him not to break it but he grenaded the water pump and the CAST fan tried to escape though the hood, leaving a nice tear in the metal.
Got to go over to note all the final setting before, setting it back up for the street as I set it up a tad rich so as not to overheat it at higher revs.
