-damn -can't think of a decent caption CS! Yes Bob, I'm very, very grateful to Merv for the Fuji. Nice little camera. Only problem is it has a digital shutter, rather than a mechanical one, & there's a delay between pressing the button & it taking the shot -which means it struggles to photograph moving vehicles or people. We went right through the options & couldn't find a way of speeding it up. At some point later in the year I might pick up a second hand Nikon body, (about 100 quid on Ebay), but for now, thank you Merv!

Good choices Sir. The little orange "bobber" was just about perfect. The owner bought it, as is, from Ebay, & didn't know a lot about it. The gold one's more of a traditional "chopper", but was running a skinny rear crossply & ribbed rear guard like the bobber boys. "Military" one's a brand new Honda Shadow or similar, dressed up as vintage.

changed my mind, now being an old cafe racer from the 60's I do like that Triton and the thruxton bonnie, but, the real art picture is the riding boots with fisherman socks, that could grace any classic bike mag cover, 10 out of 10.

The blue framed Triton? Up for sale for 10 grand ish I believe. I was too young for the caff racer scene, (started riding at 17 in 1978/79), but almost immediately started riding Triumphs & did indeed sport the black ex Police boots & fisherman's socks. Must've been a lot of Coppers & trawlermen with chilly tootsies back then.

I draw your attention to the Brooklands "ton up" day on the 6th of July & the Jacks Hill Café "ton up" day on the 13th of July. Check the events calendar at the top of the page for details.
