Went to the fracture clinic today - the bone is healed!  Hurray!  At last I can go back on my arthritis meds!

The bad news is, looks like the problems with my ankle are permanent, ie the achilles tendon isn't working and isn't going to, so no strength in the ankle.  Got to be fitted for a special insert in my shoe and if that doesn't make walking easier, might have to have a special shoe.

He did say there is an operation they could try - I said no thanks!  Can't afford any more time out of my life, I got things to do, places to go.......

Really sorry to hear that Bobbi. I know you won't let it slow you down though! If you need a more permanent version of the hand gear change you're welcome to come & play with the welder! Rainbow's here & sends her love. xx
