If i have understood this right, Wait while they are out just get everything ready you must have some idea when they are out just play the long run. I did it at my father in laws years ago when his next door way being silly, he was a copper too, but we did the job while he was at work and she was at bingo.  Smiley

back on its wheels, repair started on door.
started fixing rad in and plumbing, but the old girl has been running!!!.......................yippeee!!!! sorry no video.
pat has been busy rubbing more paint off.

With that front jack up kit. wont it make the car unstable on round abouts and bends. also does this need looking at by vosa or dvla

door repairs all done,
big pile of parts building up at home!!! no car playing this weekend.
got a pair of electric cooling fans, an engine steady bar(as she rocked a bit on start up), door to glass seals plus clips, heater pipe reducer and heater pipe, correct size brake pipe p clips.
just waiting for flexi coolant rad pipe.
shopping tomorrow for aluminuim flat bar for rad top supports and aluminium angle for bonnet scoop fixing. also panel wipe.
going to have a go at bending/melting plexiglass for scoop tomorrow, yes i have done it before, curved screens on boats.

well i've had a go at making the hood scoop out of perspex,
i've made plenty of boat screens outa perspex heating and bending.

as you can see in this pic everything was going ok.



until this happened.



going to get some thicker (5mm) and try with that.

i'm not giving up on it!!!!
