well they're out, drilled the peened over bit, crank the molegrips on and they came undone realy easy!!!!



once drilled the new studs will sit lovely, as theres plenty of meat there, also flat. not got a picture of the back. (doh!!!)

they're not long enough, and there a strange size, 5/16 something or other.

i'm putting 7/16" studs in.

laid under hillman today getting burnt erm no welding!!!
rear spring hangers finished and painted, gearbox x-member finished and painted.
engine out next for a clean up&paint. finish welding in engine bay then a splash of paint.

the ones on austin beam axle actualy hold the outer bearing, held on through wheel studs!!!

got another clutch release arm, lets hope its the correct one this time.
also got some new 15" wheels, to re-centre. for rear. brand new £15 each free p&p!!!!

engine & box out, split, new clutch arm fitted, put back together and its the correct one yippee thats something not to worry about.  Grin
