Subaru trike.

Here’s my trike. In it's original form it was built by my Dad, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year, (2006). It was then passed on to me.
Right then, it has a Subaru EA81 ohv flat four engine mated to a type 1 VW gearbox transaxle.
At the moment due to the old carb messing up, the engine is running a 1¾” SU from a Morris Marina 1800, but this is going to be changed for a Weber twin choke over the winter.
It’s recently gained a 2 into 1 exhaust, which I was informed by Mr Manky sounded far too civilised. I have to agree so it will be modified in the very near future.
Being water cooled, it’s running a Ford rad believed to be mk1 or 2 Ford Escort up front, with coolant running through the bottom frame rails & silicone hoses all round.
The rear brakes have been converted to discs with a remote servo.
The rear wheels are 10”x15” Mangels with 275/60/15 tyres. Rear lighting is taken care of by 2 repro Model A Ford lights, with forward lighting by bullet lights & a Ness style headlamp.
The seat was built & upholstered by my Dad. Up front the tanks are Harley fat bobs with a stainless infill panel. The front end was donated from a Yamaha XS850.
I really like it & I ride it in memory of my ol' Dad.
