THE PITBULL.

Well where do I start?
From the beginning I suppose. I bought the “Pitbull” from Ebay earlier this year. I don’t know much about its history, except that a guy called Dave Miller and “Uncle Chuffty” in Kinston in Bournemouth built it. I bought it from someone called Nick (“Budgie”) from RAT Motorcycles. He had it for 2 years then his Missus took it over for a further 3 years. It’s an XS750 Yam with a narrowed Ford Capri axle and Nick, Uncle Chuffty and “Skin” made the rear 15” wheels for it. It did have a Weller 8 spoke 13” front wheel on moto-cross front forks

Nick then changed to what I think is a Bandit 400 front end and also added a small carrier on the back and quieter extension to the exhaust to pass MoTs.

Then I bought it. I haven’t done that much to it, other than added a sissy bar to hang the token toy on -oh and to keep the other half happy! I’ve made my own foot pegs and adjusted the positioning of them, as being 6ft tall I was a little cramped to say the least.

Even Tazet who is 5”6 was a little cramped.

I also added some extra rear lights to keep Mr MoT man happy, an oil temperature gauge & oil breather filter, an ignition switch, a neutral light and oil light.

That’s about it really for now but I’m sure things will change. This is it as it stands now.

And the token toy
