Taz & I spent our Bank Holiday Monday at the annual Spring vehicle meet at Picket Piece, near Andover, Hants. So did Chevy Rick, PD, Lunatic & Lunatic Senior, Triker Pete & Chrissie, & Captain Spanner Fingers, plus Mr Giant, dressed as a 12 foot tall inflatable Easter bunny, (I find it best not to ask why any more). A good time was had by all. Nice to see all you guys.
Rick was showing his '49 Chevy pick-up again & Taz's 3 litre Clubsport was on the BMW owners club stand -a handy way of getting into the show for free & guaranteeing us a parking space right in the middle of the show! Despite dire warnings of Bank Holiday gridlock, traffic was fine on our M3/A303 route from Guildford. We queued for maybe 15 minutes through Picket Piece village to get into the showground & after a few minute's confusion with the marshals about where we were supposed to park, drove straight to the club stand. As with most other events at the moment, the weather hit the attendance figures a bit, but still plenty to look at & plenty of people doing the looking. The show was due to finish at 4.30 but the majority had drifted away by around 2.30 when we left -this year's unusually early Easter has really messed the Spring shows up.
A good day out though. I bought a new auto welding helmet & a handful of spanners from the trade stalls & Taz came away with an entrant's plaque. We chatted to lots of friends, made a few more, had a pleasant pub lunch onsite & took loads of photos between us.

Another good day out.

Next!
