This one’s fairly self explanatory. Every Tuesday night during the Summer months the harbour side at Poole in Dorset is closed off to normal traffic & taken over by hundreds & hundreds of bikes. Volunteers marshal the event, charging £1 to park up. Not sure if that goes to charity or to cover the costs of running things but it’s worth a quid to be able to park right on the sea front rather than some dodgy side street. Lots of bars & fast food places open all evening, a nice mix of interesting machinery to wander around & usually a familiar face or two to chat to.
Seem to be more & more regular bike meets springing up now, which can only be a good thing can’t it. Maybe see you at this one soon.
