Damon from Portsmouth has owned this scoot for 13 years now. It was originally white and 150cc. Aside from the colour there's been suprisingly few alterations. It's loaded with original 60’s styling items, in particular the mirrors and lights. The engine has the standard barrel and carb, but the bottom end's been upgraded with high load bearings and a race crank, plus electronic ignition. The modificationsclick to view larger image were handled by scooter specialists "Skullduggery Tuning”. The engine produces 7bhp with a top speed of 55mph.
The distinctive upswept exhaust is an original 60’s system, possibly the only pair in the UK, maybe even the World. The gearbox is the standard Li 150 item. Brakes are standard as are the wheels, which are shod with Continental Twist 350x10 tyres. That super bright paint is Signal Yellow, with Kodak Chromatic Flake -another traditional 60s styling trick. Karl Russell Chroming handled the shiny inserts on the side panels and yes, there is a marble in the end of each one.
